Newsboys Coming to Wenatchee

Hey - a few of us are going to this concert.  Want to go with us as a group?  They’re coming on March 26th and the cost is around $17.00 depending on the seats.  Give Rob or Karen a call if you want to join in, but don’t wait too late or the tickets will be gone.

Skating and Pizza

Sunday, March 1st, we’re going ice skating at the new Town Toyota Center from 3:00 to 4:30pm then we’re headed over to Abby’s Pizza.  It only costs $5.00 per person but you have to let us know you’re coming so that the pizza can be ordered ahead of time.  No regular meeting this night.

Feb. 22nd - Roman Kladivo - Youth Evangelist

Have you been waiting for the right night to invite an unsaved friend to youth group?  This is the night!  Roman Kladivo, a youth evangelist from the Czech Republic is coming to speak to us.  We are also looking forward to hearing the youth praise team from the Quincy Methodist Church.  To start it all off, we’re going to have dinner at 6:00pm with a little free time to get to know Roman and the other youth groups.  Then we’ll enjoy worshipping and the word that Roman has for us.  Great food, great music, great speaker!  Invite that friend  - you know the one - this is the night!

Special speaker Luis Perez shines; aLIVe rocks!

January 11th was a VERY good night.  If you weren’t there - you should have been.   After another great meal together, we got to enjoy the music of the “aLIVe” praise band.  Not only do they sing and play a beautiful selection of songs, but they lead us in worship.  There is no better place to be, as the song says.  Then we got to hear the testimony of Luis Perez who works with youth and their families at the Juvenile Justice Center.  Luis openly and boldly shared his life of drugs and gang activity before coming to the Lord on January 11th, 2005, exactly 4 years ago.  (Isn’t God’s timing wonderful?)  He inspired us to walk strong in our faith and to see that the Lord has a plan for us.  Remember to pray for Luis as he tries to help kids who are in trouble and as he has opportunity to share his faith.
